Founded in 2001, ForwardCross uses
the latest and best internet technologies to bring to the church worker the
tools needed in order "To Help Ministries to Grow the kingdom of God", our
mission statement.
In 2001, a church was faced with a daunting task of entering in thousands of
pieces of information for an evangelism project. There were many
volunteers, but only one computer. And, that computer was located at the
church. At that moment the idea of a web based church management system
was born. Shortly after, development began on what is now
ForwardCross. A fully feature rich church management system that is also
affordable to every church regardless of size.
How do we do it? We keep our expenses down by not having a high overhead
cost for an office building. All of our employees are "Virtual
employees", working from thier homes.. Also, with only one install of the
software that everyone uses, support of the application is much easier.
This allows us to keep our staffing at a minimal level while at the same time
providing top of the line support to our customers.
ForwardCross is a church management system that comes to you. You do
not have to install any software or any updates. You get updates and
enhancements to the system at the same time as everyone else. You also do
not have to worry about any of the infrastructure. No complicated
computer network. No worries about losing your information if your
personal computer crashes. We take care of all that for you.
We use a leased server which physically resides in Texas. It is in a
highly fortified building built strictly for the purpose of hosting computers
for internet businesses. It has two Cat Diesel generators, a battery
backup (UPS), and two access lines to the internet. All this redundancy
is to insure maximum up time.
ForwardCross is officially headquarter in Port Orange, Florida. However,
since everyone is a "Virtual Employee" we are actually located all over the US.
